Getting Learners Logged Into Spellcaster

Overview

Learn how to access learner login credentials and help your students get started on Spellcaster. This guide covers how to view and export usernames and passwords, and the different ways learners can sign in to the platform.

What Learners Need to Log In

To access Spellcaster, learners need both a username and password. These credentials are automatically generated when you create a learner account and can be accessed and customized through your dashboard.

Viewing Learner Credentials

You can access learner usernames and passwords directly from the dashboard.

To View Individual Login Details:

  • Click on a learner's row in the dashboard to open their individual view
  • Click the settings cog icon to open the settings side panel
  • View and edit the learner's username and password as needed

Exporting Login Details

Spellcaster allows you to export login credentials for easy distribution to learners.

To Export Login Details:

  • Check the box beside one or multiple learners' names on the dashboard
  • Click "Export Login Details" from the bulk actions menu
  • Choose your export format:
    • Printable Cards (PDF): Ready-to-print login cards you can cut up and distribute to learners
    • CSV: A spreadsheet format for your own record-keeping or custom printing

How Learners Can Sign In

Learners can access Spellcaster in two ways, depending on your learning environment:

Option 1: Through the Dashboard

This method is more common when working alongside learners in a clinical setting, intervention space, or as a parent.

  • Login to your dashboard account
  • Click the "Play" button besides your learner's name

Option 2: Direct Login from the Website

Learners can log in independently from the Spellcaster homepage:

  • Navigate to spellcaster.education
  • Click "Learner Sign In"
  • Enter their username and password
to navigate to select ESC to close
