Network Setup

Whitelisting Domains

Most Spellcaster services should be accessible from inside your network, but on some occasions, your IT Staff will need to set up rules on the firewall/proxy server to allow the traffic through.

Several firewalls allow you to insert a general rule to allow traffic to a whitelisted domain. To whitelist Spellcaster and all our cloud-based services via a general rule, please whitelist the following addresses:

How to Apply Whitelist Rules

Contact your IT administrator or network security team to add these domains to your firewall's whitelist. Most modern firewalls support wildcard domain rules, so adding *.spellcaster.education should cover all Spellcaster services.

Testing

Verify Whitelist Configuration

After implementing the whitelist rules, test access to Spellcaster by:

  • Accessing the main Spellcaster application
  • Testing student login functionality
  • Verifying data synchronization works properly
  • Checking that all interactive content loads correctly

If you continue to experience connectivity issues after whitelisting these domains, please contact Spellcaster support for additional assistance.
