Learn how to manage individual and bulk learner settings in Spellcaster, including adjusting learning levels, modifying learner information, and customizing learning scaffolds to provide the best possible experience for each student.

Managing Settings

Individual Learner Settings

Spellcaster provides comprehensive controls for managing individual learner settings through the dashboard, allowing you to customize each student's learning experience.

Adjusting Learning Levels:

  • Navigate to the main dashboard view
  • Locate the level select dropdown next to the learner's name
  • Choose the desired level from the scope and sequence options
  • Changes take effect immediately

Modifying Learner Information:

  • Click on a learner's row in the dashboard to access their individual view
  • Find the settings sidebar in the learner view
  • Edit the learner's name and username as needed
  • All changes are automatically saved

Customizing Learning Scaffolds

Spellcaster offers various learning scaffolds that can be adjusted to support each learner's unique needs.

Available Scaffold Settings:

  • Enable or disable phoneme sound pronunciation when cards are dropped in spell mini-games
  • Adjust the delay timing between instructions
  • Toggle the Dueling system access

Adjusting Scaffolds:

  • Access the individual learner view
  • Locate the settings sidebar
  • Navigate to the Scaffolds section
  • Toggle desired scaffold options on or off
  • Changes apply automatically to the learner's experience

Bulk Learner Management

Spellcaster enables efficient management of multiple learners simultaneously through bulk actions.

Deleting Learners:

  • For individual deletion, check the box beside a learner's name and click "Delete Learner"
  • For bulk deletion, select multiple learners using the checkboxes and click "Delete Learner"
  • Confirm the deletion when prompted

Bulk Actions:

  • Select multiple learners using the checkboxes on the dashboard
  • Use the bulk actions menu to make changes to all selected learners
  • Available actions include:
    • Changing learning levels for multiple learners
    • Deleting multiple learners
    • Applying the same scaffold settings to multiple learners
  • Review changes before confirming bulk actions
