Understanding Group Managers

Group managers are colleagues, team members, or stakeholders who can be assigned to oversee specific groups within your Spellcaster organization. These managers have access to view and manage their assigned groups, providing flexible oversight options for your learning programs.

Managing Groups

Adding Group Managers

Adding group managers is a straightforward process that can be done from your group management interface.

Steps to Add Managers:

  • Navigate to your organization's group table
  • Click on the relevant group to access group settings
  • Click the "Add Manager" button
  • Select team members from the displayed list of organization members

Important Notes:

  • Team members must be added to your Spellcaster organization first
  • There is no limit to the number of group managers per group
  • Group managers can be assigned to multiple groups
  • For adding team members to your organization, refer to the "Adding Team Members" documentation
Managing Groups

Managing Group Access

Group managers have specific access and capabilities within their assigned groups.

Manager Access Features:

  • Groups appear in the dashboard sidebar under the Groups tab
  • Quick navigation between assigned groups
  • Full access to group management features
  • Ability to view and manage assigned group details

Removing Managers:

  • Click the X button next to a manager's name to remove them
  • Removal only affects access to the specific group
  • Managers retain access to other assigned groups
  • Changes take effect immediately
